Strawberry Protein Chia Pink Power Oatmeal

Updated: Sep 11, 2019

On Wednesdays, we eat pink. Pink protein power oatmeal. The protein, whole grains, healthy fats, fiber, and vitamin C are sure to jumpstart your day. Plus, not only is this breakfast nutrient-dense, but it's also super quick, easy, and inexpensive. All you need is:

  • 1/4 cup quick steel cut oats

  • 1 scoop strawberry flavored protein powder (or any protein flavor really - I used strawberry here for the fun pink color)

  • 1/4 cup water

  • Strawberries

  • 1/2 TBS chia seeds (optional)

  • Your other favorite oatmeal toppings (fruits, nuts, cinnamon, etc.)

Simply scoop out 1/4 cup dry oats and add it to a bowl. Then add one scoop of protein to the bowl, and combine the oats and protein powder together. Add 1/4 cup water, and stir. Stick your bowl in the microwave for about one minute (give or take, depending on your microwave, and how you like your oatmeal). If you want to stir in your favorite milk too, do it! Lastly, slice up your strawberries and other favorite toppings. I also added 1/2 TBS of chia seeds for the crunch, added protein, fiber, and fat benefits.

And that's it! You have yourself a pretty, delicious, filling, powerhouse of a breakfast in just minutes! Enjoy!
